A team, a family
We are Marco and Valentina, the owners of Dune Malta!
We`re a young couple with two baby boys, Ocean and Heli, who flew to Malta from the italian part of Switzerland for the first time in 2013 – and immediately fell in love with its bays and crystal clear waters!
Marco – The Captain
I’m the captain, but it’s little Ocean, our son, who’s holding the sails. From his name you can easily understand the love for the sea and underwater life…besides the fact that Vale and I are a little bit crazy.
I was a teacher in a secondary school and I love to teach, this, my diving students say, makes me able to solve learning difficulties in a fun and simple way. I love having fun and company… as well as talking a lot as Vale always says!
I was part of a diving search and rescue team in Switzerland and thanks to this I worked on film sets for important films, where I was lucky enough to meet actors and directors and work closely with them.
Little Ocean gives us his smiles every day and will be happy to meet you at the Dune center!

Valentina – Quartermaster
Well yes, I’m the one who keeps everything under control at the Dune center … if it were up to Marco you would always be chatting! We are a phenomenal team and from this year we have the little Ocean to keep us company.
I’ve always loved to speak different languages (Italian, English, French and German) so when we decided to move here to Malta and start our adventure I was immediately fascinated. As a good quartermaster I manage all the bureaucracy and take care of the center while the others are out, it’s my second home. I will be very happy to host you here with us and share a good cup of tea with all of you after the dives.
